Hidden between the pages

 So I was bored and I wrote a kinda song ( I turned it into a poem at the end)  This was one of the versions ( I kept editing it so there are so many different versions)  It’s about loving a fictional character  Pre-Chorus 1 Your story was written in the stars, In a universe beyond my reach. Every day I wish to see you beyond my dreams, To feel your electric touch on my skin. But then I realized  You were the perfection that would set this world ablaze  Chorus 1 Oooohhh… Not every story has a happy ending. In another life, you could be mine, But reality traps me in its cage. I wish I could rewrite our ending, So that you could be mine. I try to erase this mistake, That trapped me in the wrong world. I try to break these chains that stop me, From diving into another world. But the universe is against me, And I hear you whisper: "Some stories are meant to stay tragic." One day a charming but authoritative comes to see her and informs her that she her presence is required at the reading of the will of a dead billionaire she has never heard of. I am an avid reader who loves to escape into another world hidden within the pages of a book. I believe that a book is the best therapy and that sometimes all we need to fix a broken day is a few minutes with a book, lost in the adventures of our fictional friends.
