The Inheritance Games Review
For my first review I wanted to write about one of my all time favorite books.
The inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes.
The inheritance Games is a book which transports the reader into a world of mystery and riddles.

Age rating 11+
There wasn’t anything bad about this book so I think that 11 year old will enjoy it.
❤️Romance - Romantic tension and flirting. There is a love triangle but it doesn’t interfere with the main plot. Romance is more of a sub plot in this book but it’s 100% clean. There is one kissing scene but not detailed.
🧩Mystery- There is a lot of puzzles and riddles. The mystery is really good I loved it. It’s not an over the top thriller but it’s amazing. Even if you’re scared of murder mystery you probably won’t be scared after this it’s not a typical adrenaline rush high stake murder mystery. But it is addictive and enjoyable. It’s not exactly a murder mystery.
☄️violence - Not much violence just like attempted murder but not that detailed or graphic.
🧍🧍♀️characters - amazing I loved the characters ( I didn’t like all the characters obviously) I liked the characterization and I loved how she made the Hawthorne brothers so magnetic.
🍺Alcohol/ Drinking - there are mentions of teenagers being drunk and people drinking.
So Personally I think that anyone 11 years and older can read this but it depends on personal preference.
Also there is one scene where two character talk with someone else face to face while she was in the bathtub but nothing is described. ( btw this character is really messed up)
Personal opinion - this book was amazing, I loved it the plot twists and the mystery was amazing I’d recommend this to anyone.
⚠️SPOILER WARNING - READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Let me start with my opinion I HATE EMILY SO MUCH. How could she play Jameson and Grayson.
Also I hate Skye and she’s so messed up.
I feel so bad for Grayson cause he blames himself for what happened to Emily even though it was Emily’s fault. And I hate Emily for what she did to Rebecca. Rebecca was her sister not her servant or her shadow.
Love the Hawthorne brothers especially Jamie. Jennifer Lynn Barnes outdid herself creating them.
Team Jameson ( I love Grayson too though)
Everyone asking team Jeremiah or Conrad
My brain : automatically translates it to team Jameson or Grayson.
Also Skye was an obvious suspect for the murder though I thought it might be Thea or Zara too considering the time of Thea’s arrival
I didn’t expect Thea to be in love with Rebecca that was a total surprise.
Alisa : Never loose your heart to a Hawthorne
Avery : Don’t worry I keep mine under lock and key
Also Avery manages to fall for both Jameson and Grayson.
Me: Avery you might want to change that lock 🔐
Loved Xander he was so funny. Nash was like the typical older brother and very caring of Libby.
All the Hawthorne brothers are unique and amazing
SPOILER OVER
THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO LOVES A GOOD MYSTERY. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
